Description: This product is extracted and refined from the seeds of psoralea corylifolia. Dried product contains minimum of 90.0 % bakuchiol.

Benefit: Bakuchiol acts as an anti-aging active. It being a retinol-like compound has been found to modulate following key genes like retinoid-binding & metabolizing genes, dermal-epidermal junction genes, extracellular matrix genes and cytoskeletal genes resulting in anti-aging benefits. It stimulates collagens type I, III (older fibroblasts) and IV proteins as revealed by cell culture studies.

Solubility: Soluble in DMSO or 100% ethanol

Applications: Cream, lotions, serum. Bakuchiol is sensitive, so it needs to be protected from UV light rays when using it in the formulation.
